FLIGHTS OF FANTASY: BEHIND THE SCENES
Susan Feigenbaum is giving an artist talk for MNWCA members
about her current exhibit in the Andersen Horticultural Library,
at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Exhibition Dates: Feb. 5 - May 30.
Flights of Fantasy features a flock of Minnesota birds in their habitats, interpreted in ceramic compositions by Susan Feigenbaum.
Special items from the library's collection are paired with Susan's artworks.
Susan Feigenbaum's exhibit is supported by
a 2019 Minnesota Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.

Saturday, March 28
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chaska, MN
Teaching Classroom, Oswald Visitor Center
Slide Presentation at 2:00-3:00.
Refreshments will be served.
Visit the exhibit in the library before or after the classroom talk
from 10:30 - 4:30.
After the talk, library staff will present illustrated books
from the Rare Book Collection for our viewing pleasure.

March 28 is also MapleFest day with the annual pancake breakfast.
Parking will be tight in the morning, and loosen later.
Three-mile Drive will still be closed for the winter season.

Andersen Horticultural Library is located in the Snyder Building--the original building designed by architect Edward Lundie. The library is the largest horticultural research library in the Midwest, and features custom-built furniture by George Nakashima. The library is open from 10:30 - 4:30 on March 28.
Susan Feigenbaum is giving a second artist talk on Monday, April 27 1:30 -3:00, in the Snyder Auditorium. This event is open to all Arboretum members and visitors, and includes the chance to closely view rare books displayed by library staff.
Refreshments will be served, and admission fees will be charged at the gate.
