On Friday, Sue will lead a one day workshop full of conversations about creating a narrative surface to a form in such a way as to accentuate the form. Her sgrafitto drawings are reminiscent of woodcuts from Scandinavian folk lore. The Bremen Town Musicians: a rooster on a cat on a dog on a horse fill the surface of a platter. The long neck of a goose entwined with a snake complements the handle and volume of a pitcher. Sue is a gracious teacher and will be able to demystify drawing for you with her tried and true techniques.
This workshop is offered in cooperation with MNWCA and we have spots reserved just for MNWCA members.
